They have come from the gym
to protect the landlords’ map.
Where we used to sleep there are the most bizarre archaeologists,
and behind them,
the champions of recreational sailing.
We have drawn a circle
of lit cigarettes
and molotov cocktails made out of poppers bottles.
They send out purple and red lights,
so sharp
that they are more real than the regime of the streets
and that they invert the predominance
of matter over shadows.
In the middle a body that represents us:
its legs stumbling
because they are stiff for the dance that has been imposed on them;
its eyes equivalent to some food that tastes of nothing,
but which ends up haunting you
and making you nauseous;
its smile typical of someone who is being tortured
and who causes an incredibly painful explosion in their own chest
to finish their executioner off.
This will be our presence in the city.
This will be our welcome.

Han vingut des del gimnàs
a protegir el mapa dels rendistes.
Allà on dormíem hi ha els arqueòlegs més estrafolaris,
i darrere d’ells,
els campions de la nàutica recreativa.
Nosaltres hem traçat un cercle
de cigarretes enceses
i de molotovs fets amb ampolles de popper.
Emeten llums vermelles i liles,
tan nítides
que tenen més realitat que el règim dels carrers
i que inverteixen el predomini
de la matèria sobre l’ombra.
Al centre un cos que ens representa:
les cames entrebancades
perquè són rígides per al ball que els imposen;
els ulls equivalents a un menjar que no té gust,
però que al final et persegueix
i et causa nàusees;
el somriure propi d’algú que és torturat
i que es provoca una explosió increïblement dolorosa al tors
per a liquidar el botxí.
Aquesta serà la nostra presència a la ciutat.
Aquesta serà la nostra benvinguda.

Changing shape is so easy.
In any moment
you could find yourself transformed into disfigured lichens
or come to adopt a posture
that imparts justice with all the weight of your left foot.
I want to establish a laboratory
to master this process.
I will absorb the qualities of a thousand insects:
armoured,
green,
flying,
purple.
And every time
that they intend to tie our bones to the statues of the regime
I will celebrate a metamorphosis
in temples that will take up as much space as possible.

Everybody has an opinion
on its nature
and the best occasions to go there.
We have taken it as a model
and have developed methods
to turn into voids
the heart of any new monuments,
of the neighbourhoods that hang from them,
and of the corpses that we will find under them.

que ningú sap a què està dedicat.
Tothom té opinions
sobre el seu caràcter
i les millors ocasions per a anar-hi.
L’hem pres de model

I will hide in the exact centre of the waters of terror
and I will conspire with a comrade
while we swim under the vaults that support the headquarters of the corrupt.
Or I will take a trip to a forest in the outskirts,
to nourish the plants in a room made of flowers
that we built in honour of a friendship.
I will also pull my knickers down
and get penetrated by tentacles akin to poisonous plants,
in memory of all the changes in shape that we have undergone and will undergo.
I will go up to our dead ones’ favourite rooftop
to study by their side
and load my rifle with the bullets that they recommend.
How many segments does the world have?
Even in this neighbourhood
there must be someone cooking with masks of the colour of panic on,
or playing melodies for the foxes in the park.

i hi conspiraré amb una companya
mentre nedem sota les voltes que aguanten la seu dels corruptes.
O faré un viatge a un bosc dels afores,
per a alimentar les plantes d’una habitació de flors
que vam construir en honor a una amistat.
També m’abaixaré les calces
i em faré penetrar per tentacles semblants a plantes verinoses,
en record dels canvis de forma que hem passat i passarem.
Pujaré al terrat favorit dels nostres morts
per a estudiar al seu costat
i carregar el fusell amb les bales que em recomanin.
Quants més segments deu tenir el món?
Fins i tot en aquest barri
hi deu haver gent cuinant amb màscares del color del pànic,
