Every time I see someone
and every time I come across a pane of glass
the bourgeois state assigns me a set of organs.

Thanks to witchcraft
I’ve made a skin
whose qualities fit a punk faerie,
and I’ve installed a joy device
in place of my most inspected scar.

Through force and pain I’ve been able to do a dance
which horrifies mothers and shopkeepers.

I’m on a quest
to find the parts of my body
and destroy with them the shapes
that monotheists and bureaucreats impose on me.
